The Australian and New Zealand Obesity Society (ANZOS) and the Australian Lifestyle Medicine Association (ALMA) take great pleasure in inviting you to attend the 2014 ANZOS / ALMA Annual Scientific Meeting.
This meeting will be held in Sydney, 16th to 18th October, and will bring together a diversity of researchers and practitioners who are focussed on the prevention, treatment and management of obesity as well as the promotion of healthy lifestyle behaviours more generally. The breadth of contribution to ANZOS / ALMA offers a unique opportunity in Australia and New Zealand to meet and exchange ideas that will promote integrated approaches to tackle the escalating obesity and unhealthy lifestyle problem.
Delegates will have a chance to engage in a comprehensive three-day programme that will include a dynamic mix of expert keynote speakers and presentations in four parallel streams focussing on metabolism & integrated physiology, intervention & clinical studies, public health & policy, as well as psychology & lifestyle medicine.
The critical mass of presentations across each of these streams will provide a perfect opportunity for both experienced and early career researchers, as well as GPs and other health professionals, to interact in what is likely to be the most well attended obesity / lifestyle meeting in Australasia in recent years.
We look forward to welcoming you to Sydney for an informative, engaging and exciting meeting.
